The patient in this case is an 11-year-old female who fractured the thumb of her dominant hand 1 year ago and now has a well-established non-union of the head of the proximal phalanx of her right thumb. Here, Dr. Rao and Dr. Perlmutter repair the fracture by harvesting a bone graft from the patient’s iliac crest and transplanting it into the fracture site. This case was performed during a surgical mission in Honduras with the World Surgical Foundation.

Here, Dr. Rao and Dr. Perlmutter release both sides, with the right side involving a full-thickness skin graft taken from the patient’s groin crease. This case was filmed during a surgical mission with the World Surgical Foundation in Honduras.

The patient is a 38-year-old female who presented with fecal incontinence, constipation, and stress urinary incontinence, and was found to have stage II posterior vaginal wall prolapse. She desired definitive surgical management of her prolapse and opted for posterior vaginal repair.

In this case, Dr. Alvear performs a bilateral open inguinal hernia repair on the second of two twin babies while on a surgical mission with the World Surgical Foundation in the Philippines. On one side, the ovary was trapped within the hernia sac. Here, Dr. Alvear demonstrates his technique for preserving the ovary in this setting, which is effective, much quicker, and much safer with fewer complications for anesthesia.

This case presents a cadaveric demonstration of the coronal approach to exposing the upper or middle facial skeleton. This approach is commonly used when treating facial trauma such as frontal sinus fractures, orbital fractures, and zygoma fractures, as well as when taking a superficial temporal artery biopsy.
